If it is important enough to you, you will find the way.

If it is not, you will find an excuse

About Me

For my qualifications, look below, but I’ll tell you first what most people really want to know:

I will listen to understand

I will sit in the muck of the issues so you don’t feel alone

I will accept you as you are and not judge

I will see your beauty & worth even when you don’t

I will help you identify your strengths and weaknesses and formulate a path to level up

I will be your cheerleader when you want to give up

I will be your guide when I see you stray

I will be honest with you but will do it kindly

I am really good at what I do, but I will not do it for you.

I will show you the doors & paths, but only you can go through them.

You will be safe with me.

Are you unhappy, hurt, anxious or angry?
Is your life or relationship in a bad place?
Everything you tried isn't working?
I'm here to help!
While on a life journey toward meaning & happiness, sometimes we need to sort through the issues that hold us back or are a heavy weight to carry. Therapy is a place to do that sorting: in a safe & trusting environment, we go through our traveler's bag, keep what's our strengths & passions, resolve the entangled conflicts, and maybe leave behind what no longer serves us within our hearts. I would love to be your guide in this journey.

Although people come to see me for a variety of reasons, my specialties are in the treatment of depression, anxiety, OCD, substance abuse, gaming addiction, ACOA, trauma & sexual abuse, affairs/betrayal, anger issues, and a variety of sexual concerns - for males, females & couples, families, teenagers. Military-focused Care Provider. Almost 30 years of experience. Fluent in English & Polish

I am a Master’s level Licensed therapist and a Licensed Alcohol & Drug counselor. I am also AASACT eligible sex therapist, but due to lack of time, I have not pursued the application process to become credentialed as such. My Bachelor & Master’s degrees are both from New York University. My sex therapy training is predominantly through UMDNJ when the Sex Therapy program was ran by Sandra Leiblum. Over the years, I’ve worked in outpatient mental health agencies, therapeutic foster care and substance abuse rehabilitation center. Besides clinical work: I teach a graduate Human Sexuality course at Rutger’s University and have taught a graduate Substance Abuse course at Monmouth University, I provide supervision to LSW, LCSW, LPC & LCADC eligible clinicians as well as offer workshops for various community organizations and schools on various topics. Some of these were on: stress management, anxiety, depression, PTSD, anger management emotional eating as well as coping mechanisms as alternatives to substance abuse. I am someone you can trust with your sensitive issues; am compassionate, understanding and have great instincts when it comes to helping others. I believe that many of us experience difficulties that hold us back from reaching our full potential, keep us in destructive cycles and keep us in emotional pain.Seeking counseling allows us to move past these obstacles, tap into our inner strength and flourish in our personal and professional lives. Let’s embark on that journey together.
